Overview
This case study explores the design and development of an AI chatbot integrated into a DeFi (Decentralized Finance) platform to assist users with crypto and DeFi-related inquiries.
Problem
The DeFi platform's users often had questions and concerns related to crypto investments, transactions, and DeFi protocols. The challenge was to create a seamless and intuitive chatbot interface that could effectively address these inquiries, enhancing the user experience and engagement on the platform.
Research & Discovery
Studied competitors to understand how they provided user assistance and identified areas for improvement.
Ideation & Design
Conceptualization: Brainstormed ideas for chatbot implementation, considering different popup options to optimize screen real estate.
Wireframes and Prototyping: Created wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize the chatbot's user interface and functionality.
Iterative Design: Incorporated user feedback into design iterations to refine the chatbot's appearance and behavior.

Sidebar Navigation: Users can expand a sidebar that displays the chatbot's previous prompts or conversation history, allowing them to revisit past interactions for reference.

Minimize and Expand: Users have the flexibility to minimize the chatbot to a discreet top header, conserving screen space while still having access to its functionality. They can also expand it to full-screen mode for a more immersive experience.
